Kyle's practice focuses on commercial litigation, international disputes and non-contentious advisory work.

​

Kyle is frequently instructed across a variety of commercial disputes and particularly those with an international element. He is noted for his pragmatic advice and astute business sense. He regularly appears as sole advocate across all courts or as part of larger commercial teams.

​

Kyle's recent work has included contractual disputes before the High Court as well as cross-border disputes involving companies and individuals. Kyle's non-contentious work includes contract drafting, legal advice and structuring as well as contract negotiation for SMEs.

 

Kyle is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

​

Notable current and recent instructions include:

​

• Acting (lead by Stephen Auld KC) for a U.K. based supplier of ventilators to the Mexican government during the Covid pandemic.

​

• Successfully obtaining a passport order and other associated worldwide injunctive relief against an individual alleged to have used undue influence to unlawfully transfer funds. 

​

• Acting for a U.K. based insurance administrator before the Commercial Court. 

​

• Acting for a U.K. based technology company against both company and director defendants for procuring a breach of contract and conspiracy before the High Court and Court of Appeal (lead by Philip Coppel KC), including associated injunctive and enforcement proceedings. Northamber Plc. v Genee World Limited and Ots. [2024] EWCA Civ 428

• Advising several SME's on commercial supply agreements and corporate compliance matters.
